Grandaddy Heaven
It's a great day because my grandbabies are here! Andrew is sitting right up in my armpit and life is good. We are trying to get his game working and we just drank coffee. This is going to be a fantastic day with the three of them and Lauren and Steven.

Exciting Day
There's too much anticipation in the air this morning! Easterlings are on the way to our new house. We've been working so hard for the last two weeks trying to tie things up and get ready for them. Freida has really carried the load because I keep getting more and more maladies. My sinuses are draining so I can't talk very well, my knee hurts and my ankle is bothering me. The latter is getting a lot better.
Mainly I'm just tired. I must really look down and bad because everyone keeps telling me how bad I look! That's always encouraging. I've got to get my Christmas cards together and given out.
Today is snack day so I need to get to the lounge and enjoy before the vultures move in. It's amazing how some of our folks act when they get around something like this. It's like they haven't ever been anywhere or eaten anything before.
The best part of today will be the greetings after being apart for so long. I wish somehow they would decide they wanted to be closer to us so we could at least be a little part of their lives. It kills me how we're on the outside looking in.

Additional Thoughts
This is a banner occasion, my second writing of the day!
One more day of school is gone and I haven't been able to accomplish much. Ms. Choron's computer is giving me problems because it's something new that's wrong. The boot.ini is missing the hal.dll file. I've tried several ways to fix it that I found Googling but none have worked. It's a great puzzle I'll enjoy once I figure it out.
I took a trip to Clay Elementary today and found their problem pretty quickly. Tomorrow I'll go back with the tools I need and they'll be ready to go.

Another day
Here I am at school again, ready to face a new day. Schools, especially elementary schools, are different this time of the year. The kids are all excited about Christmas and anticipating sugar plums, etc., but the adults have different sugar plums dancing in their heads. They have thought of sleeping late and doing nothing but rest.
After this week maybe I can rest but right now it's all hands on deck to get ready for the joyous arrival of all things Easterling! Yesterday was Christopher's 12th birthday. Time has certainly flown by these past few years. He's really growing up, but after talking with him last night, I see he still wants to be around us. How long will that last? They all live so far, far away. If only they were a little closer we could be involved somehow in their lives. I would love to be able to attend a school event with them.
No use worrying about it. I guess we'll never experience the joy of our grandkids and being a part of L and S's lives. I understand them wanting to be independent, but I just wish they could be independent a little closer.
Any way, it's a moot point. The excitement of Christmas is upon us. We've got so much to take care of before they arrive. On to Christmas!

Here we go!
Well now I've done it. I've caved in to peer pressure and started a blog.
The reality is why would anyone else care what I think about things? ...and the reality is, they don't. Blogging is about expressing yourself without caring if anyone listens(reads), I guess.
I'm gonna do my best to write something every day.
We'll just have to see if I really have anything of value to say!
